Tuesday, February 9th became an unofficial holiday in Massachusetts as New Englanders from every state in the union descended on Wachusett Mountain for the second edition of Chris Grenier’s Holiday Hammers. Lack of snow in December on the East Coast pushed the already legendary contest into February, but this only increased the anticipation and snowboarders of all ages called in sick to school and work to throw down on set up alongside some of New England’s finest, including Mike Rav, Mary Rand, and of course, Grenier. Check out the photo gallery and full recap of Holiday Hammers and watch the above video for a sampling of the fine hams that were sent on the East Coast hardpack. Thanks to Chris, his sponsors, Lifesize Tom Brady, and Wachusett Terrain Park Manager Andrew Roy and his dedicated crew for putting on a very celebratory Massachusetts day.
