On the final day of our custom board build at the Never Summer factory, we remove the freshly pressed deck and begin to trim off the excess material. It then goes through multiple rounds of finishing and sanding, as well as drilling out the inserts – a major key. There are a ton of small, super important steps, that go into putting the finishing touches on a snowboard. They’re all done by hand, and are critical to making the board as good as it can be.
