PLT Topsheet Technology™ – PLT™ technology is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the topsheet to an already pressed snowboard. This is magical because the rest of the world mashes their topsheet on with glue, heat and pressure during the pressing stage. Doing so causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the topsheet. And because nobody wants to spend their hard earned cash on a bumpy snowboard, many companies slather their tops with a thick, toxic lacquer to smooth things out. Not only is that ish heavy and can potentially develop unsightly hairline cracks, it’s also really unhealthy for the working environment. The PLT™ machine produces a featherlight, smooth, high-gloss finish, without all that poisonous deadweight.

Made at the Mothership (100% Hydro Powered Facility) – The NH3 natural gas heating system has an ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 0, with a COP (coefficient of performance) of 5. This means that for every 1 unit of energy consumed by the system, 5 units of energy for heating and cooling is achieved. It’s like making the effort to spin a 360, but landing a silky smooth 1800 instead. Soft Flex – A soft flexing board is more maneuverable at slow speed and more forgiving in general. This flex is great for beginner and intermediate riders and for the advanced rider who prefers a looser more skate like feel for freestyle riding.

Directional Twin – A twin shape for freestyle performance with a directional flex for power at high speed. Binding stance is set back slightly.

Low Camber

JIB 3BT™ – 3rd generation JIB 3BT™ featuring SideKick™ is tuned with a wide centerbase and the shortest section of sidebase uplist in the line. The uplift angle is low and begins outside the bindings for precision control with less hangups. The wide centerbase offers a stable platform to press, load up ollies and put down landings. Perfect for urban, jib, and park driven riders.

Twin

SideKick – SideKick dramatically increases the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation smoother, increases float in powder and improves handling of the board in rough terrain.

Core Core – Full poplar with beech hardwood laid tip to tail along the inserts strengthening the board’s backbone, reinforcing the inserts and producing more pop.

Central Super Tube – One centrally placed hollow carbon rod milled into the bottom of the core to enhance pop without stiffening the board torsionally.

Biax Laminate – Traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.

ABS Solid Walls – Tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for the best flex to strength ratio.
